Gender prejudice

The world that we live in is so sad sometimes that it’s hard to sleep at night. I can’t believe that people would discriminate against women all over the world simply due to gender prejudice. If only people would take it upon themselves to be educated about the world around them, together we could fight for a better and safer world for all.

friends-687165_1920More and more, women all across the world are uniting and finding their voice. They are stepping away from the idea that women need to compete against each other and instead are starting to gather together, supporting and lifting each other up. No matter where you live and what type of adversity you face, it all has one thing in common: prejudice/discrimination.

Women all over the world are standing up and representing all women, poor or wealthy, mothers or not, working in an office or working at home, born or transgender, of every shape, size, and color, of every nationality and culture.

We need to show everyone who we truly are, unique human being each one of us.¬†We don’t need no camouflage, no fitting in a box of someone else’s making. We don’t need to play dumb. We don’t have to sit still and look pretty.

“I am not free while any woman is unfree, even when her shackles are very different from my own.” – Audre Lorde, Writer, Feminist, Civil Rights Activist

executive-1668932_1920Women, we are everywhere, more than ever, we need to stand up for our rights and the rights of the marginalized. We need to step out of the shadows and let our collective voices be heard. There is power in numbers. It’s our turn, let’s get loud. When women support one and another, amazing things happen!

I love hearing from you!
