Internet Day

Today marks Internet Day. Since I use the internet a least once a day (let’s face it, it’s much more than that), I figured it’s a day I should participate in.

The Internet has undoubtedly become a huge part of our lives. We use the Internet for almost everything, from entertainment, a learning tool, pay bills, shopping, socialising, etc.  Almost everything is now available over the internet. For many people, it is impossible to imagine life without it.

Online respect is everyone’s business. It’s important to remind ourselves and our children that certain online behaviours can have real consequences. Social networks like all electronic communications have particularities: impression of anonymity, almost unlimited audience, the spontaneity of exchanges, let us be vigilant.
