Anyone who’s observed young children and pets will tell you that they will instinctively behave/react differently depending on who they meet.
As we grow up, we are thought to dismiss gut feelings and use our logical thoughts instead. I’m not saying to throw logic out of the windows. Way too many people do that already. What I am saying is that we shouldn’t be so quick to dismiss our gut feelings.

Have you ever made a decision and immediately started to feel sick inside or anxious? When it comes to making major decisions, your intuition can matter just as much as your intellect. If you want to make better decisions in life, you’d do well to brush up on your intuition skills.
Intuition comes from the primitive brain; it’s an artefact of the early days of man when the brain’s ability to detect hidden dangers ensured our survival. It’s an extremely powerful form of empathy that helps foster deep connections with other people.
