Trigger Warning: Discussion of death, grief, murder and violence.
I’m a strong believer in living in defiance and not giving into fear.
So many families have been devastated by the loss of a loved one in the most traumatic way imaginable.
Mothers have been killed while waiting to pick up their daughters from a concert or on a night out with their families. Young girls and teenagers have been killed and called sluts and whores. Many have been sent to critical care.
From the bottom of our hearts, we are so sorry. No words could ever alleviate such pain. Our hearts are with you.
Words cannot express our sorrow for the victims and their families harmed in senseless attacks. We mourn the lives children and loved ones taken by these cowardly acts. Our sincere condolences to anyone and everyone affected by horrific crimes.
Attacks like this are meant to make us change our ways, it meant to control us through fear. Yes, there are times you will be afraid, but talking about it really helps. Lean on those who understand what you’ve been through. Support each other. You are not alone.
