I can’t meditate

I have tried meditation on several occasion for different reasons. I have tried guided meditation using different applications.

Medication is supposed to help with stress, tension, anxiety, all things I struggle with.  Meditation can apparently renew your brain in 8 weeks. In theory, meditation should be amazing for someone like me who struggles with depression and anxiety. Yet, it’s completely elusive.

Anyone’s been completely discouraged by their lack of skills when it comes to meditation? Any tips and tricks that actually worked for you?
