The fear of failing

To make a mistake or to fail is one of the biggest fears we have. Since we were children, we are taught that we must be successful.

However, a strong person knows that making a mistake does not always mean failing. They challenge themselves to live in uncertain situations with the sole objective of experimenting. They learned that a failure is only the beginning of a new path. Through these experiences, they enrich their knowledge and draw a clearer goal.

“Don’t worry about failures, worry about the chances you miss when you don’t even try.” – Jack Canfield

A strong person is not only willing to try again and again, she has the desire to do so. They know that they will stumble and fall and, no doubt about it, and they will feel discouraged, but they also know that they will stand up, dust themselves off, and take another step because they are strong.

“You are going to struggle, so you need to surround yourself with people you trust.” – Black Panther

A strong person embraces failure as a necessity for growth. Do not fear it. Failure will teach you the greatest lessons of all.

  1. I agree, I think we do all have that fear and the worry associated with looking foolish. I have an awful habit of giving up too soon or not starting something because the current situation isn’t the perfect set up. I don’t really know how to change my attitude but I’m now aware of it so I guess it’s a start! Great post 🙏
