Your words matter

I think we all underestimate the breadth of our words. I don’t think we understand how many people they reach, how it affects someone feeling down, or what it says about us once it’s heard.

You may not have meant any harm or hurt, but you never know who is listening and absorbing your words.

“It is time for parents to teach young people early on that in diversity there is beauty and there is strength.” – Maya Angelou

One word can change a person’s life. Say a kind word. Be a friend.

How many story have we heard of people who had reached the end of their rope and someone smiled at them or said something nice and it changed their entire life.

Words are powerful. They can improve the world you live in or become a negative force. We have the responsibility to make sure our impact upon this world is a kind and positive one.
