If Fibromyalgia had a physical representation.

If you haven’t seen Deadpool 2 and do not want to read any spoilers, you may want to see the movie before reading this blog post. You’ve been warned.

My husband and I went to see Deadpool 2.Watching the movie it dawned on me that if Fibromyalgia had a physical representation it would be Deadpool.

Going through growing pains as a grown adult. Yep, been there, done that.

Feeling like you’ve been torn in two and you can’t feel your legs. Yep, been there, done that.

Feeling like your bones have been broken in several places. Check.

Bones cracking painfully when you move. Check.

Feeling like you have a metal rod through your brain. Check.

Fantasizing about suicide to stop the pain. Unfortunately, goes with living with a pain illness that has no cure. Check.

Functioning at pain levels that would probably kill most individuals. Yep, been there, done that. Pretty much doing it right now.

Developing a wicked sense of humor to get you through the constant pain. Double checks.
