Education = Freedom

September 8th marks International Literacy Day. It was created to help highlight the importance of literacy and education to individuals, communities and societies.

121 million of children worldwide are out of school. More than 1/2 are girls. Gender inequality, poverty, and lack of education create barriers for women and girls trying to access lifesaving healthcare.

Our own school system needs a complete updating and revamping.

Get a good education so you can support yourself if need be. Always maintain an avenue for financial independence.

Education allows you to build up your future, and manage to climb up all the steps of the hierarchy to your complete satisfaction, thus arriving to hit the self-esteem and self-actualization targets. It should be noticed, however, that, the world is changing by its self, through the continuous scientific research, and technological evolution.

Value your intelligence, even when those around you don’t.

Did you know that eating chocolate while studying helps your brain retain new information easily? Isn’t that the best news ever?

Education also helps people see opportunities beyond the criminal lifestyle.  I am thankful for all the endless possibilities this world has to offer but more importantly that I believe that now.

Don’t be afraid of making mistakes along the way.
