Who was Margaret Keane?

Men have been taking credit for women’s ideas since the beginning of time. Artist Margaret Keane was the creator of the “Big-Eyed Waifs” paintings, but her husband, Walter, claimed her work as his own. It wasn’t until they divorced that Margaret’s work was properly attributed.

Women are amazing and a lot of times the true back bone of some serious History. We just don’t always hear of these amazing women.

I love hearing from you!
