Give yourself permission to say no. It’s okay to say no to social events or obligations when you’re already overloaded. When you say no, you’re saying yes to more energy for the things that really matter.
Even though we live in a society that fosters us to be constantly on the move, we need time to re-charge. We need to fuel ourselves with energy. It’s important to take breaks.
What doesn’t get planned usually doesn’t get done, so make sure to plan for downtime.
