Practising gratitude help you build your resilience

Did you know that practising gratitude help you build your resilience? One of the single most effective practices for resilience is keeping a journal of gratitude. Most guides will tell you to notice 3 good things every day and reflect on them. If that is too difficult, start with 1 good thing. There is no harm in starting slowly. It will get easier.

Cultivating gratitude improves our mood, and makes us more willing to help others.

The 3 things I am most grateful for today are:

  • My family
  • Quiet mornings
  • A full belly

It may sound simple, but those 3 things make my day.
