The curse of good days

Living with a chronic illness, good days can feel as much of a curse as bad days. Why you ask? Because I know deep down that doing too much on a good day will set me back the next day. Everything takes careful planning. I keep hoping that I will make wise decisions every day.

Sitting around trying to recover from living life can be extremely depressing. Pain is mentally exhausting. Both the exhaustion and stress can manifest physically.

Maintaining a civil attitude when in pain and dealing with ignorant people who doubt your struggle can feel like trying to keep your cool when someone wrongs your child or a loved one right in front of you and you can’t do anything about it, because your hands are tied.
