The lunar eclipse will be happening today starting at 10:34 pm, Montreal time, and the complete eclipse, starting at 11:41 pm, will last 62 minutes. It will be visible in North and South America, Greenland, Iceland, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Norway, Sweden, Portugal, and from the coasts of France and Spain.
The moon is supposed to turn red when the sun’s light is scattered by the earth’s atmosphere. At the same time, the Moon will be slightly closer to the Earth and will appear larger. I can’t wait to see it.
