I always keep my phone on silent or vibrate. When I receive a text or a call, nine time out of ten, I am not in the mood to answer it. The are many reason for this.
I realized how much anxiety came from sudden phone calls or texts I wasn’t expecting. Sounds make me jump out of my skin. When I’m getting a lot of notifications throughout the day, be it texts, calls or Netflix notifications, I tend to feel very anxious.
Keeping my phone on silent because I then am under less pressure to answer incoming calls. I prefer not to talk to people most of the time.
