Use social media and video games

Anxiety can feel like drowning.  Anxiety can fill the lungs to the point of suffocation. If this is how you feel, ask for some love and tenderness from your friends on social media. Let them comment on your post and remind you that you’re loved. Use social media and video games to change your mind and get some air into those lungs.

Use video games as a temporary escape from your anxiety and depression.  I’m not saying all gamers have mental illnesses, but we need to recognize that gaming is often the bandage people use to heal from pain. Gaming can be a stimulating, healthy experience.

Many gamers are extremely lonely and gaming is the only time they get a chance to explore the world and socialize with other human beings.
