My husband and I went to see Deadpool 2 at the movie theatre a while back. Watching the movie it dawned on me that if Fibromyalgia had a physical representation it would be Deadpool.
Going through growing pains as a grown adult. Yep, been there, done that.
Feeling like you’ve been torn in two and you can’t feel your legs. Yep, been there, done that.
Feeling like your bones have been broken in several places. Check.
Bones cracking painfully and muscle stiffness when you move. Check.
Getting recurrent tension headaches. Feeling like you have a metal rod through your brain. Check.
Dealing with depression and other mood disorders. Fantasizing about suicide to stop the pain. Unfortunately, goes with living with a pain illness that has no cure. Check.
Functioning at pain levels that would probably kill most individuals. Yep, been there, done that. Pretty much doing it right now.
Developing a wicked sense of humour to get you through the constant pain. Double checks.
