Everyone has a different coping method when it comes to physical and mental illness. Keep in mind, what works for one person may not work for another. One method that work for me is watching comforting, silly, funny, lighthearted television shows or movies.
Yesterday, was a bad day, so I stayed in bed all day watching recordings of some of my favourite shows. I passed the day catching up on shows, such as “Charmed” and “Good Trouble” and “Runaways“. I like shows with strong female leads.
We need to do whatever it takes for us to survive your physical or/and mental illness. Feeling guilty about it only heighten the issues we are dealing with.
