Letting go

Learning to letting go is key. Most people would agree that life is hectic. The older we get the less patience we have for bad relationships. We just want to be surrounded by people who are good for us. It’s time to review our relationship and make sure we aren’t surrounded by toxic individuals.

I want to be the person who roots for others, who give compliments and encourages others to believe in themselves and their dreams. I also want to be surrounded by people who support others, give compliments and encourage others to believe in themselves and their dreams.

“Letting go doesn’t mean that you don’t care about someone anymore. It’s just realizing that the only person you really have control over is yourself.” ~Deborah Reber

When you let go, you create space for better people to enter your life.

It’s not about people pleasing either. You could waste all of your life trying to make people like you and there would still be a bunch of them who dislike you. Depending on admiration and praises from others, however, gives them power over you. People pleasing is toxic.

It is much better to be comfortable in your own skin. Don’t waste your time worrying about whether other people approve of your choices. Instead, focus on living according to your own values.

I love hearing from you!
