Take care of your mental health. Your mental health affect all aspects of life: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual.

Some people think that living in denial or in hiding is a proof of strength. It isn’t. Acknowledging and seeking help shows just how strong you really are. It takes great courage to face our messy minds.

Mental illness is not a choice. Mental health doesn’t discriminate base on age. Ignoring it won’t make it go away. But it is your choice to seek help for it.

No one should have to deal with mental health issues without really having help. If it wasn’t for the medical support and help I received for my depression and anxiety, I wouldn’t be the person that I am today. Take care of your mental health. It’s important.

Surround yourself with people who see the greatness within you, even when you fail to see it in yourself.

I write about depression, anxiety and mental health in general because I want to instill hope in people. We are often prisoners of our own thoughts, our own emotions.
